Found a budget way to return from KSL to CIQ.

BUS RIDE from KSL @ RM 1.50 and you can alight at CIQ instead of cabbing which could cost you about RM 12 - 15

HOTEL STAY @ KSL JB

And so still prefer to head to KSL Hotel for a short weekend stay for a simple reason - convenience purpose..

The Hotel is connected to the Mall which allows us to go for midnight movie!!

No need to worry about weather, safety, etc

Per weekend night stay is about $90 all in +-

We were a little disappointed to be informed that only smoking rooms are available though we've requested for non-smoking. 

But well, continue to read and you'll know why it is still worth well.. Hahaa..

Just in case you need to iron your clothes

Manage to get the King Bed & the room is pretty big comparing to our previous few visits.

Love their toiletries as it is well packed

 Got a swimming pool view located @ 7th floor

 And the JURASSIC THEME PARK!! Just happen that they were having promotion - FREE ENTRY else you gotta pay for the entrance fee.

 The next building of KSL is for non-smokers, however comparing to this lobby it is slightly run down. Had my previous stay in that building. Thumbs down!

SUBSEQUENT NIGHT STAY AT ASIAN RUBY LUXURY HOTEL

Let's move on to my great stay for my subsequent days @ Asian Ruby Luxury Hotel

I would say that I DEFINITELY WILL RETURN for future trips.

Very Spacious!

Has a cozy corner with long coffee table!

Great sky shower!

With a 3 pin socket and extra adapter just in case you didn't had any with you.

Toiletries provided, nicely display.

There is even a thank you card from the hotel upon entering. 

This hotel is located near Vincom Center Shopping Mall probably about 5 minutes walk away.

There is a supermarket at the basement and they do sell travel adapter if you need.

Oh Yes! They have fabulous breakfast. Dining at rooftop! Something different. :)

Just so happen that the period I went wasn't that crowded.

The price per night is about SGD 80 which I personally feel worth it! 

It is also located near to these few attractions:

1. Opera House 

2. Parkson Plaza

3. People's Committee Building

(Ho Chi Minh City Hall)

4. Saigon Central Post Office

5. Notre Dame Cathedral 

FIRST NIGHT STAY @ THE WHITE 1 HOTEL

I am deeply regret and disappointed for making this wrong decision.

The main reason for booking this hotel is to fit my first day itinerary to visit the following attractions:

  

1. Ben Thanh Market 

2. Saigon Square 

3. Museum of Ho Chi Minh City 

4. Bitexco Financial Tower (Skydeck) (Quite a distance away from the hotel)

5. Reunification Palace (Independence Palace)

6. People's Committee Building (Ho Chi Minh City Hall)

These locations are walking distance from  The White 1 Hotel.

 The White 1 Hotel looks pretty attractive from the photos but don't be deceive by the photos.

It was a horrible experience!  

The receptionists were unfriendly, did not bother to answer most of our questions. No initiative in helping when prompt for more information.

Room is even worst!

The bed mattress is spoiled and you can feel the spring budging out which you could injured yourself without noticing it.

The lamp on the table were spoiled and duct tape was used to cover the worn out cable. 

The desktop provided may seem useful but WiFi can't be connected and it is covered with dust. I even had to go extra mile to figure out and search for the cables to plug in, in order to switch it on.

There were mosquitoes in the room guess it flew in from the toilet as the window handle in the toilet is spoiled and it can't be locked. 

The ventilation fan has not been clean up for months, years, who knows. The dust particles dirtied my toiletries upon switching on the ventilation fan. 

The water heater temperature is inconsistent.

The wardrobe door can't be closed properly as the hinge is faulty. 

The air conditioner has not been serviced for months or years as it is not cooling even when I switch it to the coolest mode. 

The TV cable is loose and it was hidden behind the fridge so in order to adjust the cable you literally need to shift out the whole fridge from the cabinet.

I didn't get to have the photos of this horrible experience as it didn't cross my mind to start my blog journey.

The good thing is that it is only 1 night stay. Huge relief for me!
